A Young Saudi Wins the FIFA eWorld Cup 18
On last August 4th the young Saudi Mosaad Al Dossary was crowned EA Sports FIFA 18 World Champion in London. Thus, he excelled by his skills and also his youth, making millions of Saudi fans proud of their country !
From August 1st to August 4th, the Electronic World Championship took place in London’s O2 Arena. Millions of people around the world live streamed the two-legged final through FIFA’s own platform on Twich, as well as Twitter and Youtube, thus watched Saudi gamer “MSDossary” winning the competition, three years after Abdulaziz Alshehri who became in 2015 teh first Saudi gamer to win the trophy.

With a 4-0 score on aggregate, Mosaad Al Dossary successfully made it against his 20-year old Belgian counterpart Stefano Pinna, who openly complimented him by saying that “his defence is amazing”. The Saudi teenager took the title to the event’s last winner, who was a 21-year old Englishman eliminated from the competition in the knockout stages. This is not a surprise regarding Dossary’s reputation as one of the world’s best FIFA gamers, since he has already won the FUT Spring Cup in Manchester.

Among the 20 million participants to compete in the qualifying rounds, according to FIFA’s figures, 32 only made it to the Grand Final, where Mosaad Al Dossary has claimed the $250,000 in prize money with a trophy and an invitation to the Best FIFA Football awards to be held in September.
