A huge salary
CR7 recently turned down a lucrative offer from Kansas City in the US MLS to join Saudi Arabia. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the player will earn around $200m a year. His salary is expected to be around $90 million a year, but with the trade deals, this would rise to $200 million a year. That’s $16 million a month. Or $555,000 a day. Or $385 a minute!
A lever of influence
Cristiano Ronaldo is undoubtedly one of the greatest footballers in history. Even his detractors must recognize the level of self-demand and performance of this player who has won almost everything. But beyond the sportsman, the Portuguese striker is also a formidable influencer, with each sponsored publication generating 1.8 million dollars. This light that he shines everywhere he goes is a real manna for the club’s influence, which we can already see in concrete terms. According to a Sky Sports count, Riyadh’s club has gone from less than a million followers to 6 million virtual fans on Instagram since the signing of the five-time golden ball winner.

The community eagerly awaits him
Al-Nassr fans are excited about the prospect of a player of this caliber, and they showed it in their last match against Al Khaleej (1-0) with signs bearing the star’s image and even chants in the seventh minute to pay tribute to the Portuguese’s huge signing. Cristiano is expected to arrive in the Arabian Peninsula today and undergo a medical tomorrow, before being officially presented at Mrsool Park in front of around 30,000 club fans. Will they see him on the pitch against Al Ta’ee on Thursday? The decision is up to the coach, who is due to meet his new recruit in the next few hours.
